Children’s Ministry

Jewel City Church understands the impact of a dynamic children’s ministry.  With that in mind, we introduce to you, Christ Cinemas, home of the Jewel City Church Children’s Ministry.  From the check-in at our ticket booth to an old-fashioned popcorn machine, children will enjoy a movie theatre experience while learning about the greatest screenplay of all-time, the Bible, and the greatest star of all-time, Jesus Christ.  Our children’s ministry is focused on teaching the importance of living like Jesus and serving Him from a young age.   Children are taught in classrooms designed from movies such as Adventures in Odyssey, Buzz & Bob, Gaither Pond, and Veggie Tales.

JCC offers services on Sunday morning and Sunday evening  for your children, from age 3 to grade 5.  The Sunday morning, ‘Junior Church,’ service is contains a variety of elements to focus kids on the message of Christ.  Skits, object lessons, movie clips, praise & worship, and hands-on learning are many of the tools we utilize in directing kids to the build their lives on God’s foundation.  The Sunday evening service is based on the Faith Weaver Friends curriculum.  This service is set-up in stations consisting of crafts, games, snacks, and journaling.  The kids will begin the service in a large group setting then break off into small groups for the stations time.  Each service provides a unique way for us to minister to the needs of your child.  We hope to be a place your children want to go and a place that goes with your children!

As well as weekly services, JCC features an energy-packed VBS each year in July.   This year’s date is July 13-18 and will feature “Crocodile Dock.”  Click here for more info on our VBS!
